Step 1: Launch the application, by using Start Menu>Programs>Recover Deleted Files, or by double clicking the desktop shortcut. The main screen of the application is displayed. From the main screen, select the "Recover Files" option as shown in Figure 1.

Step 2: The "Fast File Recovery" option can be selected if you want to recover lost files from the drive / partition on which the operating system is installed (usually C: drive), or you can select the "Advanced File Recovery" option to select partition / drive manually. After selecting "Advanced File Recovery" option proceed to Step 3, else if you have selected "Fast File Recovery" option proceed to Step 5.
Step 3 : On selecting the "Advanced File Recovery" option, the software displays the logical drives that are detected. Select the logical drive from which you want to recover lost files and click on "Next" as shown in Figure 2.

Step 4: You have an additional option to recover files based on their unique signature by selecting the appropriate file format as shown in Figure 3. You can alternatively skip this step to proceed with scanning process.

Step 5: The software now scans the selected drive / partition for the lost files, and displays the recovered files.
